Samsung may have announced the Galaxy S6 today, i.e., on March 1st, but it appears as though there’s still a while to go before the device is offered by some of the major carriers… at least in the US and the UK. According to Talk Android, carriers including T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint (aka the big three) and Vodafone and Three in the UK have announced that they will be carrying the latest gen Galaxy flagship from Samsung.

On the prepaid side of the hemisphere, Cricket Wireless announced that it’ll be offering the Galaxy S6 for US$35 a month (after a US$5 auto-pay credit), while US Cellular made public that it’ll be taking orders for the Galaxy S6 and the Edge version thereof. Boost Mobile, and MetroPCS too will be offering only the Galaxy S6; or so it appears at the moment. Other major carriers will most certainly offer the phone as well, but news on that is yet to surface.
