Sony and Microsoft just released new versions of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Plus, all the new fall games are out, and you’ve probably already fallen behind on the latest and greatest. Black Friday is a perfect time to upgrade your gaming gear, with deals on hardware, games, and more.

We’ve gone through the array of deals out there to find the best of the best whether you’re looking for a new consoles, new controllers, or new games, so you can spend less time reading advertisements and more time playing.

(Note: We try to list the “regular” price of an item, which is usually the MSRP — manufacturer’s suggested retail price. The actual going rate of a particular model may be far below that, so it never hurts to comparison shop.)

The best gaming deals of Black Friday

If you’re a PlayStation 4 fan, you’re probably looking at either a PlayStation 4 Slim or the new, 4K-gaming enabled PlayStation 4 Pro. There aren’t a lot of deals for the Pro, outside of eBay’s bundle on Cyber Monday or Best Buy’s 4K TV package, but the Slim is available in a host of bundles for $50 off, starting at $249.99.

If Microsoft’s Xbox One is more your speed, there are plenty of deals on that, too. While almost every sale is offering a $50 discount on bundles for the new Xbox One S, your best bet may be directly from Microsoft, which is throwing in a $25 gift card and a free select game.

And while we’re all still waiting patiently for the release of the Nintendo Switch next year, Nintendo is selling a special edition of the New Nintendo 3DS for $99.99 — the lowest price ever for the handheld console — at Amazon, Best Buy, and other retailers.
